Through Fire Epic Debut Release “BREATHE”

by Craig Noce on April 15, 2017

Through Fire – Breathe (Deluxe)

Grant Joshua Kendrick – Vocals
Justin McCain – Guitar
Jesse Saint – Guitar
Patrick Mussack – Drums

We recently had the chance to see Through Fire live and the performance was as solid as the debut album release.  This four piece hard rock band hailing from Omaha, Nebraska really blew us away.  Consisting of lead singer Grant Kendrick, guitarist Justin McCain, drummer Patrick Mussack and bassist Jesse Saint, the bands live show is a hard and energetic display of vibrant youth.

The debut single, “Stronger,” is heavy on attitude and powerful riffs, with a punchy chorus that sets the tone for the rest of the album, the release sat at the well deserved #1 position for the Big Uns Countdown for 5 weeks!

The second release and title track “Breathe” carries through with power and metal attitude of the previous, Kendrik’s vocal track starts out soft and rolls in a bit raspier chorus.  The work is solid rock and roll experience for music fans and concert goers.

From beginning to end, the album is packed with catchy tracks, rhythms, and hard rock riffs, “Where You Lie,” “Dead Inside” “Lights,” “ Blood on My Hands” or “Damage”, Through Fire have certain made an impression with us and there’s no telling where they go from here.

The guitar and bass further enhance the fast pace hard rock feel of the album, Grant’s vocals provide a wide range of soft, melodic moments in between his more forceful, crunchy tones, to hard raspy vocals which is where we think he really nails that hard rock feel.

Through Fire has re-released a “Deluxe” version debut album, BREATHE, which includes acoustic versions of “Stronger,” and “Breathe” as well as a cover of Christina Perri’s song,” Jar of Hearts. Which available NOW on iTunes, Amazon and other major media outlets.
