So Each year we set up shop in the grass facing the service road and beyond that Busch Blvd, right across from Bob Evans at the old Clarion hotel. It’s cheaper than heading out to the fair grounds, closer (not by much) to home and the cars come to me instead of walking all over creation and back. Not to mention the parking is free. So anyway we take out our lawn chairs, a cooler stocked with ice cold…Pepsi and just watch as the cars drive up and down Busch. The whole family comes, we sit and crack jokes, talk about which car is better and yell “Light ’em up” to all the passersby. July is quickly overtaking the winter holidays as my favorite time of year
