Letters From The Fire impressed me the first time I heard their freshman release, but when I heard Worth The Pain, the latest LTF release, I was blown right out of my chair. Take one of the strongest female fronted sounds I’ve heard since the first Evanescence release, add some low end punch from Korn, and fantastic leads that could compete with anything Killswitch is doing, shake (not stir) and you have the beautiful musical beast known as Letters From The Fire.
Here’s the coolest part… Throw Worth The Pain on a great stereo. You hear that? Yeah, that’s what they sound like live too. I may or may not have went a little fan boy on them about their fantastic sound. I always get excited when I hear a band sounding the same recorded as they do live. It means they have the raw talent on tap, not on digital.
Have a look at the interview Antman did with Alexa and Mike, and afterward, be sure to check out the photo gallery! You can pick up Worth The Pain anywhere bad ass records are sold, and HERE
